Join Our Team as a Sales Manager!
We are searching for a passionate hospitality leader great at relationship-building to join our Sales, Marketing, and Catering team!
About the Role:
As our Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving business growth by securing new group, catering, and social events while maintaining and expanding relationships with clients and guests. Your proactive, strategic approach to sales and your ability to deliver exceptional service will ensure the property maximizes its market share.
You’ll collaborate with all departments, act as a property ambassador within the community, and represent our commitment to superior service and memorable guest experiences.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and manage client relationships to secure new business and retain existing clients.
- Coordinate all aspects of group, meeting, and event needs, including contracts, banquet event orders (BEOs), and group resumes.
- Strategically prospect and generate new business opportunities through calls, site visits, trade shows, and community involvement.
- Negotiate contracts while understanding client budgets and delivering tailored solutions.
- Maximize revenue potential through up-selling accommodations, meals, and other offerings.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and delivery of exceptional service.
- Stay informed about market trends and community activities to identify potential business opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
- A passionate professional with 3+ years of experience in client-facing roles, ideally in sales or hospitality.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Knowledge of the sales process, catering, food and beverage, and event space setup.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and client management systems like Salesforce or Delphi.
- A proven ability to build relationships, problem-solve, and exceed goals.
- Flexibility and energy to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education preferred.
- Proven experience in hospitality or sales is an asset.
- Typing proficiency of 50+ WPM and knowledge of photo-editing software are a plus.
