13 OCT SILVERBIRCH HOTELS & RESORTS APPOINTS R. GORDON JOHNSON AS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, OPERATIONS

VANCOUVER, BC, October 13, 2023 –SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts (“SilverBirch”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Gordon Johnson as Senior Vice President, Operations. Mr. Johnson will be responsible for the development and execution of strategic initiatives within the SilverBirch managed properties as well as those managed by external managers. 

Mr. Johnson comes to SilverBirch with over 40 years in the hospitality industry. His diverse experience spans renowned hotel brands such as Marriott, Hilton, Holiday Inn, and numerous independent establishments.

Prior to this role, Mr. Johnson held the position of Vice President of Operations at Atlific Hotels, overseeing operations of 20 hotels in Western Canada. His extensive industry involvement includes board membership with the Hotel Association of Canada and Tourism Calgary.
